Miles Andrew Bordon

Miles Andrew Bordon joined our family Friday, December 19 at 11:59 a.m. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long. Mom and baby are well! He's so fun and adorable and we're excited and feel very blessed to have him in our lives! I feel very blessed, also, because the labor and delivery were only four hours. HA! Looks like I may take after my mom with her short labors. I hope so because we're planning on doing this a couple more times. :D
He's so much smaller than Christian and he really is our bundle of joy. I've attached a video of him moving around. He's so precious!! Alan is SUCH a proud Daddy. It's cute to see him interact with Miles, I love it!

My mom came out for 11 days to help with the baby. Unfortunately she only got to spend 4 days with Miles but she was able to bond with Christian. I think/hope she had a fun time. :)

Before Miles was born we went to Temple Square and sipped yummy hot chocolate and looked at the lights and the JSMB (pic) and the new visitor's center. It was fun! I love to be near the temple! I can feel it is the house of God even being near it, though I prefer to be inside. :) Well, that option is getting harder and harder the more kids I have. :) hehehe...

TAG TIME

I have been tagged by my friend Heather. Here are the rules: Type 7 things about yourself that you don't think anyone knows and then choose 7 people to tag at the end. You really have to think for this one!

1. I was born in Fairfield, CA and lived there for the first year of my life.

2. I've always been a HUGE dog lover. However, after getting bit 5 times on my mission I cringe every time I come in contact with any dog...Big or small!

3. I am very picky about my chocolate chip cookies...Most of the time they taste like shortening--blah!--very few are edible to me!

4. I was in a homemade fort, made outside with sheets and sawhorses, with a cute boy named Jeff Sterling. He said he wouldn't let me leave unless I kissed him first. I quickly shoved him aside and crawled out as fast as I could. We were six. :)

5. I am distantly related to Gordon B. Hinckley on my mom's side. He and my mom's dad were second cousins and played with each other when they were kids.

6. My middle name is Lyn-with only one "n"

7. My favorite number is 7. :D

I tag: Jennifer and six others that feel like it. :)

36 weeks already?!

I can't believe I'm already 36 weeks pregnant! This has been the longest pregnancy in the history of the world and now the delivery date seems too soon. On Tuesday I was dialated 1 cm and 75% effaced. I laughed...My first cervical exam with Christian was when I was 37 1/2 weeks along. I was dialated 1 cm and was 75% effaced. Well, that night I went to sleep and awoke at 3 a.m. for my nightly pee and my water broke! HA! Alan and I were joking that my water would break last night. THANK GOODNESS it didn't! At least at 37 1/2 weeks Christian was considered full-term (and boy was he at 8 lbs 5 oz). I don't want a premature baby...I just hope Miles waits to come when my mom is here. We decided to fly her out as a Christmas present to her and us. ;) It'll give me peace of mind knowing she'll be here for the birth to help watch Christian and to help out and just be here so I don't have to be alone while Alan works or is at school (if he comes before the 19th). Oh, I'm so happy she's coming! I kept telling Alan, "I want my mommy!" and he finally caved. ;) She and my dad drove out for a week when Chrstian was born and I loved it. When they left I literally bawled and said, "I want my mom and dad!" (I had the baby blues for 2 weeks, okay.) :) They helped so much. Without them I wouldn't have eaten! :D Thank goodness for family!

Poor, poor me

I need a Wambulance moment...I have been sick for two weeks straight. BAH! A nasty cold turned into an even nastier sinus infection. I'm on antibiotics, which are helping, so hopefully all will be well. I'm tired of sitting on my keaster and watching TV and reading all day. Oh, I also have pink eye. Christian has the cold I had (and Alan had it, too, but got over it sooner) and pink eye, as well. Poor little guy. He's still got plenty of energy, though! HA! He's been begging to go outside I feel so bad! I've just been way too sick!
I had a OB/GYN appointment today. I lost 5 lbs. in the last 2 weeks. HA! There's one bonus of being sick as a dog. :)~ In two weeks my doctor'll check for dialation. Crazy! Christian came the day after my "first cervix check" appointment. HA! We'll see when Miles wants to greet the world. He sure is active; I could swear he's trying to kick his way out. :) Sweet baby...
Christian was a giraffe for Halloween. He picked out the costume himself--he loves giraffes! I dressed up as a safari explorer-person and we went trunk-or-treating in our church's parking lot. It's so nice not to have to walk for miles just to get a few pieces of candy. Alan came with us for 20 min. before heading to work and Christian was just precious. I just love all my boys!

Barnyard Boo

Saturday we went to Thanksgiving Point, a cool place with lots of different things to do about 20 min. north of us. They set up their Farm Country area for Halloween and called it "Barnyard Boo". We had fun!

We played Halloween croquet and were rewarded with a handfull of Tootsie Rolls afterward.
We went on a horse cart (whatever it's called!) ride and learned that our driver--a cute, petite female--loves to joust! HA!
They gave us two stamp cards-for Alan and I since we paid-so we could only do 10 things total. We also fed the animals (which didn't require a stamp) and frosted pumpkin cookies (which took 2 because I wanted one!).
The last activity we did was horsie rides. Christian wanted to ride the horses TWICE! The first time he rode the horses--only a few months ago--he didn't last even one time. But he loved it and shoved our hands away where we were securing him on. He's growing up too fast!
Miles is growing very quickly, also. Here's my seven month picture (it cracks me up when Christian's around b/c he runs in the picture with me and after each shot says, "Oh, cute!" HA!). HELLO, BELLY! :) I am amazed at how much he moves inside of me. It is so much more often and much more forceful than Christian was...So I have a feeling that he's going to be a very, very active little guy. Lord, give me strenght to keep up with my two boys! :)~
I am so excited to welcome him into the world, though. I've been nesting nonstop. I even have his bassinet set up in our room!
Speaking of beds I put Christian in his big boy bed yesterday-the right way. It took an hour and a half of putting him back in bed but he finally stayed for his nap and he went right down for bed last night--I think mainly b/c he's scared to wander around in the dark. Plus I told him I'd spank him if he got up. I used the same threat today for his nap and he got up only once, after finding out I followed through with it.
Christian is on my lap (forever my little shadow) and wants to say something: -jhu uybbujkj j,iu9m/bfcyvbigib k,vm nncv 67v cv c x xdrc 4tuq885g./l5i65o ,hl[,l[nit7l,[i'kmmmm k ''''''''''''''n
Now that he's got that out... :)
Oh, and by the way. Alan didn't get the job he was flown to Wisconsin for. Darn! HA! We were relieved. One less option to consider for post-graduation. :)

Missing Alan

Sunday we took a drive to Cascade Springs. It was the only day we could spend time together and I was soooo grateful it was the day it decided to rain and rain and rain. ;) We had umbrellas and coats and I was still cold! I guess I may need a maternity winter coat. Blah. Life costs so much. :)
I had a mission reunion 2 weekends ago. I was sad I couldn't go. It was in Salt Lake at 7 p.m. and Christian goes to bed at 7:30 p.m. Our ward had an ice cream social that night so no one was home from the ward to watch him. So, I went and got some free ice cream with Christian. It makes me sad that Alan works 6-10 p.m. every week night. I miss being able to go places with him in the evenings! Well, I guess I just miss him. We see him for 30 min to an hour weekdays and a few hours on Sundays (outside of church). If his schedule is light we may see him a little more but not much. I miss my husband. ;)
Every Tuesday night 4 or 5 of my girl friends and I get together and watch a movie. We bring however many movies we want to choose from and select one that night (well, usually). We're watching "The Others" tonight. We're going to watch scary movies all this month. Ooooooh! :) It's amazing that movie night has made me so happy! I didn't realize how much I missed girlie time until we started it. Now us girls are addicted to eachother. HA! Two Saturdays ago we got together and watched women's conference and ate a potluck brunch and talked about all the crazy girl stuff anyone could imagine. Then last Saturday we got together while our husbands were at the priesthood session and ate snacks and gave ourself facials and manicures and pedicures and watched "Pride and Prejudice". I love the girls! We have so much fun together and I look forward to seeing them each Tuesday night. We usually have movie night at my place b/c Alan's gone and they want me to be able to be there...Plus we have a 40" hdtv and niceish sound and they love my honey popcorn. HA! We have a blast.
I put Christian in his "big boy bed" for the first time last night. He was kicking and pushing on the sides of the crib and loosening the sides a bit. I decided it was time to put him in his toddler bed last night...Well, I found it at D.I. (second hand store). It was a crib that transforms into a toddler bed, but it's missing one of the crib sides. So, I turned it so the toddler "you can get out" side is against the wall and so he's basically in another crib. Just shorter and he can't loosen the sides. He's learning so much every day and mimics everything we do. It's so precious for the most part, though it can get on the nerves at times. :) He's finally 2 (as of Sept 8) and weighs 30 lbs and is 38" tall. He's got the Bascom tall genes going for him! :) We had a little party for him on his birthday. We invited some of his friends over and had cake and ice cream and opened presents and the kids played. It was simple yet the kids all had fun. (see pics)
We are happy and healthy. Miles is kicking away inside of me and I'm so excited to meet him! :) (see my big, pregnant belly...HA!) We always talk to Christian about Miles, his baby brother and he seems to understand. I'm nervous to take care of 2, but with the Lord anything is possible, right? :)

Four wonderful years

Yesterday was Alan's and my four year anniversary. The years sure have flown by! When I woke up I saw 2 dozen beautiful red roses on the table with the "Blue Planet" dvd's and the first season of the "X-Files". I was so confused at first, wondering why there was beauty and gifts on our dinner table. It took me a moment to remember that IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY! Hello?! :) I'd forgotten in the plans of Alan going out of town yesterday afternoon (until tonight) and Chrstian's birthday, which is on Monday. (Alan was flown to Wisconsin for a job interview for next summer...The bad thing is they want a two year commitment and we only want a job for one year. We'll see how it all works out.) My sweet honey remembered! And did something romantic! I was so happy. I made him a card, which you'll see in the pic.

Saturday we went to The Living Planet Aquarium up in Sandy. It was pretty fun! And it had the three things every cool aquarium must have: (1) sea horses, (2) a touch area, and (3) an octopus. It wasn't as big as the one in Seattle-they'd obviously turned a grocery store into the aquarium but did a fabulous job!-but it was still cool! I got to touch a few sting rays and I just loved it. :) Admission was $8.00 for Alan and I so at the end we decided to pay $14.00 extra (total) to get a year pass for us both. Christian is free b/c he's under 3. He LOVED it! He wanted to run through a couple times. Yeah! We'll have something fun to do during the freezing winter!

Tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary we're going to the temple in the morning and going to dinner in the evening. We'll probably take Christian with us in the evening to act as his birthday dinner. :) Fun!

Washington Fun

We went to Seattle, Washington Wednesday (Aug 13) and flew home Tuesday (Aug 19). Alan's mom's side had a family reunion at Ensign Ranch an hour and a half away from Seattle and we stayed there Friday night. It was so hot! But the place was really fun. There was a lot of fun and cheap--sometimes free--things to do. We went canoeing a couple times and Christian rode a horse (pic is so cute!). He cried a little bit but he loved it all around. Some of the kids went on a huge slip and slide and it was fun to watch. Alan took me to an outlet mall and we scored some really cute clothes for me from Motherhood Maternity! I think I'm set for the rest of my pregnancies. :) Alan's family was super nice and we had a blast! The rest of the time there we stayed with Alan's sweet aunt and uncle who live 20 minutes from Seattle. We bought Seattle City Passes and went to the zoo, the aquarium (I was so excited to see an octopus--see pic--for the first time and a swimming clam!), the science center (where we saw a cool 3-D IMAX film about rivers--my first 3-D experience, it was cool!). We also got a nice cruise on the sound. We ate clam chowder bread bowls (yummy-they rival San Fran's) and stopped by UW so Alan could talk to someone in admissions at the Medical School there. He talked to this really nice girl and got some good literature. It was a really fun trip and the sun shone for us most of the time!
It was good to see Alan's family. His parents met us at the zoo (pic above) and we saw his brother and his wife and their new baby boy, Benjamin, at the ranch. His family is so close and super supportive and with them it's never a dull moment. ;)
We're trucking along, trying to keep Christian busy and looking forward to meeting his baby brother. I'm so excited to have another boy. I love them! :)~ I have read all of Stephenie Meyers' books (I just finished "The Host" last night) and read all 4 of the Twilight series last week. What can I say, I like it. :) I also like Mary Higgins Clark for suspense novels and I'm about to read "Eragon" and "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini--the first two books of the series. I also have discovered Brandon Sanderson. He's a good writer! And Robert Jordan is one of my favorites. I'm sad he passed away before he could finish his last book in the Wheel of Time series. I'm sure Brandon Sanderson will do a fine job. :)
All's well here. I'm not totally well but I feel so much better. Little "Miles" (I'll just call him that for now) kicks me incessantly and I love it! :) I love to feel him move inside of me, knowing he's having fun playing and is probably healthy. I love him already.

Wee Willy Winky

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and...it's gonna be a boy! :) We're super excited that Christian is going to have a playmate, though Alan is pretty disappointed. He really wants his sweet little daddy's girl. Well, I don't know if she'll be sweet, but we'll have a girl one day one way or another, even if we have to adopt. :D The doctor moved my due date a week earlier so it's now Dec. 21. Yeah! I want to have this baby as soon as I can before Christmas. :D I love ultrasounds! I'm so grateful we have them in this day and age. When I see my babies in them, moving around in my tummy, it always makes me tear up. It makes the baby seem much more real to me and I'm 1000 times more excited to meet the little guy. We're having a hard time agreeing on names. The only one we can meet halfway on is Miles. :) We'll see.
We fly out today to Washington. Alan's mom's side is having a family reunion near Seattle and we'll be there for a week. We're actually only participating in the reunion a couple days and the three of us (Alan, Christian, and I) are spending most of the time seeing the sights in Seattle. We bought city passes so we'll be pretty busy. :D We're excited! :)

Close ties

A couple Sundays ago my mission president was in town with his family (pic of him and his wife attached). A bunch of missionaries met up with him in a park and it was so fun! Pres. Calton ended with a little talk and we all hugged and went home. It is always so great to see Pres. Calton and his family! I love them so much! It's good to stay in contact with them to remember the eternal responsibility I have to those I served in Bolivia.

Last week we had a Bascom family reunion at Bear Lake, Utah. My family all drove over from California--a long way!--to be there and it is always good to see them (pic of all 6 siblings and my parents attached). The lake was so blue and beautiful! (pic of Alan and Christian attached), though Christian didn't like it. It was odd because he LOVES water--he laughs and splashes like crazy in the bath and in the little pool I just bought him--but something about the lake didn't settle well with him. He loved his cousins (pic w/cousin J.J. above). I can't wait to see where we'll go for the next reunion in 2 years.
I'm already 18 weeks along and feeling a lot better. I'm still nauseaus but not as bad as before (thank goodness!). We'll find out the gender on August 12. Alan's so sure it's a girl that I'll be surprised if it's anything else! I've felt the baby kicking for the past week and a half or so and I love it! It makes everything worth it.
Christian is such a character. He loves to laugh and does silly things to make us laugh. HA! He cracks me up. I can't believe he'll be 2 in September. He's already embracing some of the "Terrifically Terrible Two's" attitude. hehehe...It's funny. I like him so much better now than I did when he was a newborn...I guess I'm opposite most women.
Alan is still working hard at both his jobs. We hardly see him but try to maximize our time together when he's around. We're going to Lagoon tomorrow, compliments of his day job, G.E. I'm pretty excited.

July so far...

The 4th of July was so fun! We went to a pancake breakfast the YM/YW were putting on at the church then walked over and watched the Forth of July parade. It was fun! During Christian's nap Alan and I watched "Spiderwick Chronicles". It was fun to cuddle and relax together...I hardly see him these days! Then at 5 p.m. we had a BB-Que with some friends and lit off some fireworks until 7:30 p.m. when we had to head over to the BYU football stadium. Alan bought Stadium of Fire tickets. It was fun! Blue Man Group was very entertaining and I actually tapped my foot to some of Miley Syrus' music. The fireworks show was long and fun. We couldn't find anyone to watch Christian so we had to take him. He fell asleep after the first 45 minutes or so...Poor little guy. I had to cover his ears b/c it was SO loud (pic included)! We thought we were being smart by fighting traffic and riding our bikes. Well, when it was done I got to my bike the front tire was flat! So we had to walk and still made it in half the time it took those who drove. :D heheheeee...
My birthday was on the 7th. So now I'm 30 and it is odd that for the next nine years when someone asks my age I'll have to start with "thirty" instead of "twenty". Alan worked all day so it was pretty uneventful. A couple friends came over in the evening and brought me a cake and balloons and flowers. (Video attached of Christian playing with the balloons.) I almost cried b/c it meant a lot to me. Especially since Alan didn't do anything. He's such a male sometimes. :)~ He's still trying to find my birthday present: Mario Cart for the Wii.
My family has a reunion next week, Mon-Fri. I am so excited! I'm going Tues-Fri and am crossing my fingers that Alan will be able to make it for 2 nights. It depends on if he gets work off at his night job. He's trying really hard so hopefully he can come.

Of the Bordon clan, Baby, and Exercise

Alan's parents and his younger sister (and her son) came to Provo to visit us before Alan's olders sister, Kristina, and her family move to Mesa, AZ (they're moving Saturday). It was a fun time! We got family pictures taken and basically hung out with one another. There were some contentions and disputes, of course, but what family doesn't have those? We missed Alan's older brother, Roger, and his wife. They had to work and couldn't make it. We were all sad when the left on Monday. They were only here over the weekend and it's just too short a time!
I had my first OB/GYN visit Friday. I was so excited to hear the heartbeat! When we finally got to that moment the nurse moved the sensor around for a long time. My heart dropped and I thought, "Great, another miscarriage?!" But she finally found the quick little pulse and tears sprung to my eyes. The doctor says everything's well. Hooray!
I have been going to the gym 5 days a week in the mornings. I love it. It's been super hard lately but I just make myself go! The mornings Christian wakes up late I'll take him on a bike ride along Provo River Trail. It's sooooo beautiful! You get caught up in the trees and flowing river and forget you're in the middle of the city. I love it! I'm so grateful for my bike! My mom gave it to me a couple years ago and it's been perfect!

Bike Riding

Saturday Alan, Christian and I rode from our apartment to Bridal Veil Falls. On the way we found the BIGGEST dandelion I have ever seen! Christian tried to blow on it but nothing happened. HA! It was a 10 mile ride there--uphill--and 10 miles back--downhill. It took us two hours to get there and 1/2 an hour to get back. HA! I lugged Christian behind me on his bike seat and Alan rode his new bike. I am so glad for his new bike! We have taken many family rides since he found it for $250 at Costco. Man, I love Costco. Anyway, the ride was very fun! There was a Provo Run that same day and we passed over a hundred runners going the opposite direction as us. We had fun hooting and cheering them on. Most smiled and some looked at us like we're crazy, but it was still very fun. :) We couldn't spend much time at the falls area because Alan volunteers at the hospital across the street from 11a.m. - 1 p.m. every Saturday. He's a busy boy. :) It was fun family time!
I am 12 weeks along in my pregnancy and ready to stop barfing! It makes it difficult to clean my home and almost impossible to cook food. I am guessing it'll go away at 16+ weeks like it did with Christian. I prayed for Alan and I to have more empathy...or sympathy with each other (my constant sickness and his busy-tiredness). Well, last night Alan threw up a couple times and I thought, "Man. The Lord sure does answer prayers in mysterious ways!" He's been feeling weak and sickly all day (poor boy). He has had more sympathy for me now...It'll probably only last a couple days until he forgets how much it sucks. :)
Christian is so dang cute. Those without kids will understand one day...You just love everything thing they do! It's all so precious! :) I've added a video of when I caught Christian reading to himself on the Lazy Boy in his room one day. He stopped babbling and started cheesing it up for the camera once he saw me. I love these rare, precious moments when he'll go off and play by himself. He's usually following me around the apartment. :) Man, I just love him!

Family...

Two of my nieces, Maile (7) and Alysse(3), came to stay with us from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. My sister, Francine, was in town from Reno, NV with Devin, her second-to-oldest son. He was playing water polo in Salt Lake City and we offered to take the girls. We figured it would be a happier situation on everyone's part. Plus, we hardly ever get to see them! :)
Saturday afternoon we went to Thanksgiving Point and saw the animals at Farm Country. It was so fun! We went on a "wagon" ride (horses pulling us) and the girls and Christian got to ride horses. We bought dried corn and fed all the animals. And I got to fulfill my dream of milking a cow! It was a cool place. We all had a blast (see pics)! The girls are so cute and fun!
Sunday we went to church and played around here (bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc.) until Francine came to collect her girls. We had a fun time together! I am so grateful for family! What else would we have to look forward to without them?
So I've been getting sicker lately. I'm throwing up every couple days. I keep trying to remind myself that in the grand scheme of things this horrid time is just a blink of the eye, right?...
Thank you everyone for your love and support!...And for being patient with my complaining.

Of Provo and Nature

Yesterday Christian and I went for a walk up the Provo River early in the morning. We started out with jackets and ended up in our shorts and t-shirts as the sun shone brightly and warmed us earlier than I thought it would. The walk was beautiful! There were birds everywhere--much to Christian's delight--and the river and trees were so serene! The silence was only broken by Chrisian's delighted cries, "Birdie!" here and there, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We stopped on a bridge (picture attached) and had a snack and Christian just loved it. So did I. It made me very excited for the Bascom reunion which we'll be having at Bear Lake, UT in July. Yeah! Hooray for nature! It also felt so very refreshing to get out of our apartment, which I have been feeling closterphobic in of late. I just feel so sick that I don't want to go anywhere! And although I felt sick yesterday morning I am so glad we went. It was more than a breath of fresh air.
On our way home from our walk we stopped at the park and Christian played for a while. It was so fun! He is usually very shy but he walked right up to a little girl that was there and started babbling at her. It was precious...He loves the swing (picture also attached). He's such a fun, sweet baby and I am so grateful to have him in our lives!
Our neighbors had us over for dinner last night. I am touched and overwhelmed at the love and support we are receiving! Yeah! I love everybody!

Good Friends...

I am so grateful for good friends! Much to my distress I have had a hard time with food lately (being pregnant and SICK and all). :) I hate that I cannot do dishes or cook dinner...Well, a couple from our ward brought Christian and I dinner last night (Alan was gone getting new tires because one of them blew a couple holes on his way home from his SLC job). It was so sweet of them and I appreciated it I wanted to give them each a big kiss. THEN Matt, the husband, did half our dishes (half because he filled up the drain rack). We had been out of silverware, for crying out loud! I cried when they left because I was so grateful for their service, which was so little to them, but so huge to me. I am so grateful for service and the blessings it brings! Never underestimate how much someone values what you do for them, even if what you do seems insignificant. Afterall, we usually don't think a smile or a hug are a big help to anyone until we are in need of one ourselves.
P.S. Don't forget to smile!

Tired of being sick

I'm so tired of being sick! Blah! I'm only about 7 weeks along in the pregnancy, but wanting to barf 24/7 wears on a person! And sometimes it just helps to complain...I try not to complain to Alan too often, but yah know...I love him so much. He's supporting me and picking up my slack. There are so many things I can't do right now and he does them gladly. How'd I get so lucky to have such a wonderful husband?
For Mother's Day I got $90 worth of maternity clothes (a dress, a skirt, and four cute shirts). Yeah! They're so cute and I'm so excited...I should be set for the rest of the pregnancy. (It's sad because my maternity clothes are cuter than my non-maternity clothes!) Then yesterday Alan did the dishes and cleaned the apartment and cooked all the meals. He's so sweet. And I had a cute card, of course, sitting on the table. I am such a lucky mommy and wife!
Christian is asleep right now. I love it when he's asleep 1) because I get a break and 2) because I know he's getting much needed rest. He's so precious when he sleeps I just have to attach a photo.

Christian is adorable!

Christian has been so stinking adorable the past few days! He's such a cute, fun, cuddly baby and I am so grateful to have him in my life. Here's a picture of him watching Baby Einstein, which he loves, and sucking his fingers, which he loves more, with one of his favorite blankies. :) I know when he wants to watch TV because he grabs those two pillows off the couch and sets them up against the coffee table. HA! He LOVES to be outside--he throws a fit when we bring him back into the apartment--and peanut butter and fruit. He loves to give kisses and run his fingers through my hair and he is ticklish on his neck and thighs. He is so fun and we love him so much.

Watch out, I'm a blogger now!

Woo-hoo! I am a blogger now! I went from not knowing what this is to being a full 0n blogger. hehehe...I know, I'm weird. So, I just chopped my hair off. Well, I had a foot cut off and I donated it to Locks of Love. It was fun and I don't miss it! :) Here's a picture of Alan and I at the Mt. Timp. temple...You can see my hair is SHORT. :) I can't stand to see my hair the same way for too long so I constantly cut it then grow it long again. It's fun, you should try it some time.

Alan is never home! Well, at least I see him on Saturdays and Sundays, but he is working two jobs this summer. He has an internship at GE in Salt Lake City. He leaves at 6:30 a.m. and returns at around 4:30 p.m. Then he has to leave anywhere from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to work at UPS--loading trucks--until 10 p.m. Since I'm pregnant it's hard to wait up until 10:30 p.m. for him to get home. :( So we miss him dearly...And love him lots and appreciate how hard he works for us.
